Hi! I’m Trudie Van Horn. I have been blessed to be a part of KGRD since we first went on the air June 14, 1987. My husband, Alan, and I were married in September of that year and live on a ranch just three miles from the original studio. After our second child was born, I quit announcing to be at home. But, now that our four children, Lane (16), Erin (13), Linzie (9), and Merit (7) are a bit older, I am enjoying a part-time announcing position at the station again. Generally, I work a couple of shifts on the weekend.

 

I accepted Christ at an early age and was raised in a solid Christian home. Now, most of our time is spent trying to provide the same for our family. KGRD has been a huge blessing to our family in so many ways, and we are thankful for the influence of Christian radio in our home.
